TUI Group announced that it would launch 10,000 more flights in 2020, as a part of its plans of expansion following its rival Thomas Cook collapse in September.

TUI revealed that it would add more holiday opportunities to the Britons by adding two million seats to holiday hotspots like Egypt, Mexico, Turkey, Florida, Greece, Balearics, Canaries, and Flordia in 2020, according to the Express.

The tour company will operate flights from popular airports such as Manchester, Doncaster Sheffield, Birmingham, Newcastle, and Glasgow to its wide range of hotels.

These flights are expected to create jobs for over 100 Pilots and over 200 cabin crew.

In this score, Andrew Flintham, Managing Director TUI UK & Ireland said: "The customer is at the heart of everything we do and this additional growth demonstrates our continued commitment for people to discover their smile with us."

In Egypt, on October 2, Tourism Minister Dr. Rania Al-Mashat discussed with TUI Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and North Africa Sebastian Ebel ways of cooperation to boost the tourist influx to Egypt in the coming period.
