US President Donald Trump praised Qatar's role in mediation efforts regarding Gaza on Wednesday.
"Our meeting with leaders in the Middle East is important to find a solution to the war in Gaza," Trump said, adding, "We are making every effort to return the hostages from Gaza."
Trump criticized the United Nations (UN) during his speech to the General Assembly on Tuesday, saying it "does not contribute to peacebuilding."
