WASHINGTON, JULY 14 (SEE) Yasser Reda, Egypt's ambassador to the United States of America hosted a reception on the occasion of the Egyptian National Day in the presence of Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor to US President Donald Trump, US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin, and a number of former ministers, members of Congress, along with members of the Egyptian community in Washington, D.C.
In a message read by Deputy Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, Mark Lambert; President of the United States Donald Trump congratulated the Egyptian government and people on the occasion of the National Day.
Reda pointed out to the depth of the Egyptian-American relations, expressing his hope that these relations will witness more development and achievements over the coming years.
Reda thanked the US administration officials for their cooperation during his tenure, which will end soon, describing the helpful and productive spirit that prevailed between him and his colleagues, and reiterated his pride in working as Egypt's ambassador to the United States.
