Trump Arrives in Tokyo

US President Donald Trump arrived in Tokyo on Saturday for a four-day state visit.

Trump will be the first leader in the world to meet Japan's new Emperor Naruhito, who ascended the Chrysanthemum Throne after his father Akihito declared his abdication in a historic ceremony on April 30.

"Getting ready to land in Japan with First Lady Melania. We look forward to seeing everyone soon," US President tweeted before his arrival.

Trump will meet the new emperor on Monday; he will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during his visit.

It is worth mentioning that, this visit is the second time for trump since he came to power, as he made his first visit to Tokyo in November 2017
