President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s announcement that Egypt is ready to help the tribes in Libya to defend their country, has been received with a great popular welcome.

The welcoming came amid consensus among experts and observers on the importance of this step on the path to ending “Turkish invasion” and stopping the terrorist militias and mercenaries supporting the Fayez al-Sarraj government.

The Tarhuna Tribal Council announced its support for President Sisi's speech, considering that the battle is real and cannot be postponed.

"Egypt's intervention in the Libyan issue is a legitimate intervention in accordance with the common Arab defense treaty, and according to what Libyan Egyptian history witnessed from standing together against the foreign enemy throughout history," said a council statement.

The statement added that "Egypt is intervening today as we are exposed to Turkish colonialism that seeks to control our resources, plunder our wealth, dismantle the social fabric, revive the Ottoman legacy, in addition to turning Libya into an incubator for terrorism, mercenaries and ISIS, and prolong the rule of militias.

The council also announced that it supports the Libyan parliament and army in their stability and steadfastness "in fulfilling the Libyans hopes to build their state and defend its sovereignty."

A number of people from various Libyan cities, carrying the flags of Egypt and Libya, denounced the Turkish invasion and supported the Egyptian step.

The people of Tobruk said: "We, civil society institutions, sages, dignitaries, sheikhs and citizens of the city of Tobruk and Dar El- Salaam, extend our support to President Sisi’s speech to stand with Libya and the Libyan people against invasion, Turkish aggression and the Syrian armed militias."

In the statement, they thanked the government, people and leadership of Egypt, stressing that "this is not strange for Egypt, which God has protected and preserved."

They concluded the statement by saying: "Glory and eternity to the martyrs, chanting long live Egypt, long live Egypt, long live Sisi."

On another hand, other Tribes in Libya announced that 68 Libyan tribes have prepared new lists with the names of their sons and fighters to fight the Turkish mercenaries and the militias of the Al-Wefaq government led by Fayez al-Sarraj.

Maj. Gen. Saleh Rajab Al-Mesmari, the former Libyan Minister of Interior, welcomed President Al-Sisi's statements about the situation in Libya.

Al-Mesmari said: "Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, has never abandoned its Arab brothers, and specifically the Libyan people, and has had an honorable and supportive stance for the Libyan army in the war on terror."

Al-Mesmari, who is the head of the Supreme Council of the Almorabteen Tribes - more than 68 tribes- described in exclusive statements to "Al-Ain News" that the Egyptian statements and Sisi's position was expected from the Libyans, as it is a patriotic Arab man who believes in patriotic states and supports regular armies, against terrorism, militias, and external occupation."

He stressed that Egypt's position on the premise that it is always the "chain of arms" for the Arabs, stressing that all the Arab tribes in Libya have prepared their sons and youth to fight the invading Turks and terrorists, in addition to that part of them is now supportive of the armed forces and axes.
