Video: Trabzonspor Condemns Immoral Incident Targets Egypt's Trezeguet

On Saturday, the Turkish Trabzonspor issued an official statement after the incident targeted Mahmoud Trezeguet by Samit Akaydin, the player of Fenerbahçe.

During the previous game, Akaydin spat on Trezeguet while performing prostrating on the field.

Trabzonspor condemned the incident, describing: "This is disgusting."

The Turkish club added: “We strongly condemn the inhuman act against our player Mahmoud Trezeguet during the match we played with Fenerbahce on May 18, 2023.”

The statement continued: "It is shameful and disgusting that footballer Samet Amkaidin spat on our player Trezeguet while he was prostrating after celebrating his goal."

“We expect all stakeholders, the Turkish Football Federation, and especially Fenerbahçe to take action immediately.”

Trabzonspor concluded the statement: “We want respect for everyone.”
