The Tourism Ministry, in cooperation with the CNN channel, launched #MyEgypt hashtag for the first time as a part of the partnership signed earlier in May this year.
#MyEgypt appeared during CNN's interview with the American rapper Russell Vitale who performed an incredible concert on August 2 in New Alamein city in Egypt's North Coast.
The hashtag is meant to spot light on the experiences of the travelers to Egypt.
During the three-minute interview, Russ explained the reasons for choosing Egypt to be a stop as a part of his global tour, expressing his admiration for the sea's beauty in the North Coast.
The American rapper voiced his great happiness for his Egyptian fans who attended his concert. They reached 8,000 fans.
"It is my first time ever in Egypt and it won't be the last. I wish to do more shows here," Russ said.
He added that he paid attention to his social media accounts in which he found several Egyptian followers, a matter which encouraged him to hold his concert here.
Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Rania Al Mashat tweeted: "The initiation of #MyEgypt with @CNN shedding light on travelers’ experience to #Egypt through their testimonies came during @Russdiemon visit to Al-Alamein in the North Coast, home to some of the world’s most exclusive beaches, restaurants & night clubs."

CNN coverage of Russ's visit in Egypt comes as a part of the partnership with the Egyptian Tourism Ministry for a global tourism campaign, showcasing the beauty of Egypt.
It falls within a framework of the axis of promotion and marketing of the Egypt-Tourism Reform Program (E-TRP) which aims to promote tourism in each Egyptian city. And in this video, CNN promoted New Alamein city.
