On Thursday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Essa attended the contract signing for operating the first ever hotel and tourist institution that dedicated to arts.
The new hotel will be nearby the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) as part of the activities and services of the tourist site.
Essa praised the project, and thanked the organizers for the invitations. After that, he congratulated that executing parties of the project.
Then, he asserted the keenness of the ministry to encourage investors to enhance their presence in the field of hotels as the ministry targets increasing the number of tourists and visitors to Egypt.
He also discussed the national strategy for boosting tourism in Egypt, and its targets for achieving annual growth by 25% and 30%, adding that one of the strategy's axes is improving the environment of tourist investment in Egypt, and the government's support to all investors.
Moreover, the strategy include increasing the number of hotels and flights to Egypt, and improving the experience of tourism in Egypt.
The official added that the Egyptian tourism sector is promising and it deserves a better rank in the international scene due to its various tourist factors.
Essa concluded that the latest indicators and reports about the future of tourism in Egypt are positive.
