Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, as they reviewed the financial performance of the Council since the beginning of the current fiscal year (July 2023 until February 2024), as the Council’s reliance on funding from the state’s general budget decreased by 90%, compared to the previous fiscal year.
Several other topics were also also discussed.
The application of integrated waste management in tourist facilities in South Sinai was also discussed, dur to the tourist importance of the city in addition to addressing the mechanism of dealing with recyclable materials.
