The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities participated in the latest “Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Arab Countries in Times of Crisis” forum. The session was organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific (ALESCO) and the Lebanese Ministry of Culture and held in Beirut.
Eman Zidan, the Director of Development of archaeological Sites & Museums, said that the ministry participated at the event alongside several representatives of international and regional organizations and experts that dedicated to the field of preserving cultural heritage.
The forum exhibited a number of sessions that the experiences several institutions in the field of cultural heritage protection, especially in times of crisis, and to improve the means of Arab countries in dealing with such field.
In addition, the forum discussed the various strategies and theories for the preservation of heritage properties and historical monuments.
