Tottenham have broken the bank to sign Richarlison, paying Everton 69.5 million euros for the 25-year-old Brazil international who has signed for the club until 2027.

Assuming these figures are correct, Richarlison surpasses the 60 million that Tanguy Ndombele cost the Premier League club in 2019, making him the most expensive signing in the history of the London club.

The price tag of 69.5 million euros is as reported by the BBC.

The Brazil international leaves an Everton side he joined in 2018 from Watford, where he made 152 appearances and scored 53 goals, including some which were vital as the Blues avoided relegation last term.

With his arrival, Antonio Conte has one further versatile attacker to add to his front line alongside Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski and Ivan Perisic.

He is Spurs' fourth signing of the summer after the Croatian winger, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma, who cost just under 30 million euros from Brighton.
