Tottenham Hotspur have officially sacked head coach Thomas Frank following a series of disappointing results in the Premier League.
In a statement, the club confirmed: “The club has decided to make a change to the men’s first-team manager. Thomas Frank will leave his role today.”
Frank, who was appointed in June 2025, had been given time and support to build for the future.
However, the club cited recent performances and results as the reason for the decision.
“Despite our commitment to giving Thomas the tools to succeed, the team’s performances have led the board to conclude that a change is necessary at this stage of the season,” the statement added.
Tottenham also acknowledged Frank’s dedication: “Throughout his time at the club, Thomas demonstrated strong commitment and gave his all to help improve the team. We thank him for his contributions and wish him every success in the future.”
The club’s recent struggles included defeats to Manchester United and Newcastle in Premier League rounds 25 and 26.
Tottenham currently sit 16th in the league with 29 points, intensifying pressure on the squad and management.
