Danish coach Jesse Torup, the former manager of Al Ahly, departs Cairo today, Friday, for his home country after his official departure from the Red Devils.
Al Ahly terminated its contractual relationship with Torup and his coaching staff by mutual agreement during a meeting held by Yassin Mansour, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Sayed Abdel-Hafiz, Board Member, who are responsible for football affairs, with the coach and his agent, Firas Ali, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Shehata, the legal advisor for the football sector.
Torup signed a financial settlement after receiving his dues, according to the terms of his contract, which expires on June 30, 2026. The club thanked the coach and his assistants for their time in charge and for their efforts to achieve the best results, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
