Only less than a week left for the 2021 Thanksgiving, and Black Friday season. The two celebrations are mainly dedicated to family time and the blessings of life.

Last year's events were somehow harsh for all humanity due to the dramatic emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, this year's ones come amid more positive vibes by the existence of the vaccines. As gatherings and family are the real secret codes of Thanksgiving, here are easy, and magical tips to make the celebration easier, and happier.

Have a Plan

Knowing what to do is always easier and less stressful than thinking of what you should do. This is the core of this tip as if you have the guest list that you would invite for having dinner with your family, and having an idea about the recipes you are going to cook; this will save a lot of time and will give you the chance to move to the following tips easily.

You can use one of the online checklists or planner lists for dinner, and goods to make sure that you wouldn't miss anything.

Prepare Early

Some of the traditional Thanksgiving recipes in the US could be prepared a few days before the big day, and they can be stored frozen such as the homemade cranberry sauce.

Also, you can make the early preparation for the main dish and the sides night before Thanksgiving day which can give you plenty of time to take care of every detail around.

Clean before Cook

Before cooking, it is necessary to have a clean and well-organized kitchen to make sure of using all available devices, and tools you need without being surrounded by dozens of uncleaned dishes, spoons, and cups for example.

Choose Recipes You Really Know

It is important to completely avoid any recipe you never tried to cook, of course, the last thing you want to gain on such a beautiful night is running it by a bad dish!

If you really want to add something new, you can try the recipe days before Thanksgiving, or order it online.

Another way you can follow is by asking a friend to bring it and add it to the table.

Ask for Help

Asking for help is not always a bad idea when it comes to big days. It will help you to reduce the stress upon your shoulders and give you more time to handle the stuff you may miss.

Simply, you can ask one of your friends to help you in preparing some salads, sauces, or in shopping. Your close friend could also help you in receiving your guests by welcoming them to give you the time you need to get well dressed.

Play Music

During those big gatherings, you need to make sure of playing the good, and suitable music for the occasion. As this event is a family and warm one where all people will sit, eat and talk together, so you need such soft, rhythmic music to fill the air.

One of the best choices for such as folk US celebration would be classic country music hits such as "The Sound of Silence," "The Leader of the Band," "Take Me Home, Country Roads," "Amarillo by Morning," "Sing me Back Home," "Tie a Yellow Ribbon," and "Nothing on but the Radio."

Or, you can have acoustic selections that will give an amusing atmosphere for the dinner especially by bands such as Bon Jovi, and classic rock selections for Guns N' Roses, Scorpions, Skid Row, Kiss, and Aerosmith. Oldies and Jazz also can work for the night.

If you have nothing in your mind regarding music, you can play some of the playlists on music platforms such as Anghami, Spotify, or Youtube.

Enjoy Every Moment

Although cooking, and hosting a family dinner is so anxious and stressful, it leaves an unforgettable sweet memory in the mind and the heart.

So, enjoy its stress, and cooking by having coffee while preparing food, ordering extra desserts to serve with tea, or playing music and singing.

Finally, have yourself a warm, lovely Thanksgiving day.
