Filming is currently underway on the Sydney set of "Thor: Love and Thunder". The Marvel stars Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt were spotted in full costume for the first time on Monday.

Hemsworth portrays Thor in the franchise, while Pratt will reprise his role as Peter Quill or Star-Lord.

The actors were surrounded by camera equipment, production assistants, and sound guys running around on set. Hemsworth was also seen alongside his stunt double on set with both men seen wearing the long blond wigs.

The Hollywood stars were filming scenes in the city's Centennial Park as they got to work on the latest installment in the Thor franchise, which is slated for release next year.

Other actors were seen wandering around the set including Sean Gunn dressed in a purple spacesuit. Karen Gillan has also been spotted in full Nebula makeup on the set.

"Thor: Love and Thunder", directed by Taika Waititi, is currently filming in Australia after being a recipient of the Federal Government's $24.1 million Location Incentive grant.

The production is expected to invest over $178million in the local economy, create around 2,500 jobs, and enlist services from around 1,650 businesses. Marvel has also set up a trainee program for Australian actors and crew as part of the deal.

According to Screen NSW, it's part of a deal that will see several of the Marvel movies made in Australia over the coming years.

Last year, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", another Marvel movie had been filmed in Sydney as part of the deal.
