Thiago Motta Expresses Gratitude to Juventus as His Tenure as Head Coach Ends

On Monday, Thiago Motta, the former coach of Serie A side Juventus, expressed his gratitude to the club’s management and team in his earliest comments following his dismissal from coaching Juventus. 

He mentioned that he experienced "moments full of challenge and ambition" with the team. 

Cited by the Italian news agency ANSA, the former Italian coach said: "I had an experience full of challenges, and I gave my utmost effort and determination to develop the team every day. I thank the owners for their trust in me, the management, and all the members of the club for their continued support. I also want to express my gratitude to the players for their commitment from day one, and I wish Juventus' fans and the team success in the future."

Thiago Motta took charge of Juventus last summer with a contract lasting until 2027, but his tenure ended after just nine months, amid reports of declining results and a strained relationship with some players.

Juventus currently sit in fifth place in Serie A, having been eliminated from both the Champions League and the Coppa Italia, prompting the management to make a change with nine rounds remaining in the season.
