These 3 Egyptians Made Forbes' 2020 "30 Under 30"

Forbes Middle East has unveiled its 2020's "30 under 30" list. The criteria for choosing the inpiduals in the list is somewhat different from other lists.

Forbes considers factors such as how established they are, their scalability, the project’s commercial viability, their scope, expertise, and influence.

It recognizes a selection of the most impressive and highly-accomplished young minds in the Arab world.

Those eligible for the list have to be under 30 years old. They can have any nationality but had to be residing in the Middle East.

Forbes list included three Egyptians who excel in different fields such as sport and retail, coming as follows:

Khaled El Sayyad, Retail & F&B, Prime Capital & Prime Hospitality

Khaled El Sayyad is the founder and CEO of Prime Capital and Prime Hospitality, which offers serviced apartments, real estate investment, and property management in Egypt. Prime today owns and manages a portfolio of over 100 properties and is on track to reach over 200 properties by the end of 2020. The company has achieved an occupancy rate of over 90% before the pandemic.

Farida Osman, Sports & Entertainment

Osman is an Egyptian professional swimmer, who has represented Egypt twice at the Olympic Games. She became the first-ever Egyptian to bag two medals at the world championships. Her driving force and motivation are breaking barriers and stereotypes in Africa and the Middle East.

Aly Mahmoud, Sports & Entertainment, Eksab

Mahmoud founded in 2017 Eksab, a daily fantasy football platform for the Middle East market, since then, the platform has raised a six-figure sum from 500 Startups. The app featured among the top five most popular app rankings in the Google Play Store and secured sponsorship from large corporates, including Nike Egypt.
