5 Healthy Snacks to Enjoy this Summer!!!

There is no doubt that we all enjoy snacks whether it is in the middle of the night, after a swim or during a long day on the beach, so, here are 5 Healthy Snacks to Enjoy this Summer!!!

1_ Fruit Kabobs

• Ingredients:

− 6 cups of watermelon, cubed.

− 6 cups of pineapple, cubed.

− 6 cups of cantaloupe, cubed.

− 6 cups of strawberries.

− 6 blackberries.

− 1 mango, peeled and cubed.

− 2 kiwis, peeled and cubed.

• Instructions

− Thread the fruit onto wooden skewers in a rainbow order, place on a platter and Serve!

2_ Avocado Toast

• Ingredients

− ½ a small avocado.

− 1 slice of whole grain bread, toasted.

− ½ a teaspoon of lemon juice.

− Salt.

− Black pepper.

• Instructions

− In a small bowl, mash the avocado, lemon juice, salt and pepper with a fork.

− Spread the mashed avocado mixture on the toasted bread and Enjoy!

3_ Banana and Peanut Butter Roll-Ups

• Ingredients

− 1 medium whole wheat tortilla.

− 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.

− 1 medium banana, peeled.

− ½ tablespoon of honey.

• Instructions

− In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey before spreading the mixture evenly on the tortilla.

− Place the banana on the bottom third of the tortilla before rolling tightly. Cut the roll into slices and Serve!

4_ Popcorn with Nutritional Yeast

• Ingredients

− 2 cups of air-popped popcorn.

− 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast.

• Instructions

− Top the popcorn with the nutritional yeast to give it a delicious cheesy taste. Mix well and Serve!!

5_ Mixed Berries Greek Yogurt

• Ingredients

− ½ a cup of Greek yogurt.

− ½ a cup of mixed berries.

− ½ a tablespoon of honey.

• Instructions

− Mix the berries with the Greek yogurt before drizzling the honey on top and Enjoy!
