"The Walking Dead" will return for the second part of season 11 on February 20, 2022.
AMC also shared a short teaser alongside the date announcement which featured Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) saying: “Just thinking about choices, do they even matter anymore?”.

The final season consists of 24 episodes that will be split into three-episode airing blocks, concluding sometime in 2022.
This extended season is the longest in the show’s history. The first part of Season 11 consisted of eight episodes and premiered on August 22 on AMC and a week early on August 15 on AMC+. It is set to conclude on Sunday (October 10).

The final season also features Lauren Cohan as Maggie Greene, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, Christian Serratos as Rosita Espinosa, Josh McDermitt as Eugene Porter, Seth Gilliam as Gabriel Stokes, Ross Marquand as Aaron, and Khary Payton as Ezekiel.
There is plenty of upcoming spin-offs of the series such as "Fear The Walking Dead" which is set to return for its sixth season this month and "The Walking Dead: World Beyond" which has begun its second and final season.
There is also a Daryl and Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride, spin-off following the main show and movies starring Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes.
