Hanan Motawie Nominated for Best African Actress Award

The Sotigui Academy in cooperation with the “Fiasiaco” festival announced the nomination of the Egyptian Actress Hanan Motawie for the Best African Actress Award for her role in the movie “Fragile ” that is directed by Ahmed Rashwan.

Motawie’s fans showed their utter support for her on the different social media platforms and requested from everyone to vote for her.

The awards ceremony is set to be on Saturday, November 14th. 30 members of the Sotigui Academy will give their votes to determine the winner, also voting is open for the public online.

The film’s director Rashwan announced his happiness for Motawea’s nomination saying hat she is a talented actress who showed her raw talent through the years. Rashwan also announced that her role in his movie “Fragile” was a challenge to her as an actress but despite that she managed to overcome the challenge with her talent and understanding to details.

Also, Motawie’s show “Ella Ana (Amal Hayaty) was released a few weeks ago. The show was a great success due to the actress’ spontaneous talent.

The voting is still currently open for everyone online. Many fans hope that Motawie will be the first Egyptian actress to win this award.
