On Friday, The Rock was hosted by Pat McAfee on his show where he discussed several plans for his teased WWE return.
The Rock said that a match against his cousin and the top star of WWE Roman Reigns was locked in for the last WrestleMania main event (WrestleMania 39).
Many fans were anticipating the return of The Rock to the WWE as the event was held in Hollywood.
“Alright, so The Rock headlining WrestleMania with Roman Reigns, SoFi Stadium, that was locked. That was locked in; we were doing it. We were doing it, but let me just tell you.”
The Rock added that Nick Khan organized a meeting between themselves and Vince McMahon.
He added he would be open to appearing at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia next year.
It is worth mentioning that the main event of night two of WrestleMania 39 was for the Tribal Chief defending his title against Cody Rhodes who failed to finish his story.
