The king expressed his regret that Storm Dana did not affect the Valencian community and Castilla La Mancha in particular, with about 100 victims in addition to the losses and damages from cars being sunk and swept away, and the streets turning into rivers in addition to the railways being stopped.
The king said, "The main thing is to express condolences and sadness for this large number of human losses," adding that "there has been enormous destruction to the infrastructure and property of many people."
