Legendary Ronaldinho Contracts COVID-19

Former Brazilian international and professional star Ronaldinho, announced on Sunday that he contracted COVID-19, but he affirmed that he has no symptoms of the virus.

The former Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan star, posted a video on his Instagram account in which he said, "Greetings friends, family, fans. I have taken a COVID-19 test and the result is positive. I am fine, I do not suffer from symptoms at the moment."

The forty-year-old former Brazil star, will remain isolated at his hotel in Belo Horizonte (southeast of the country), where he was scheduled to participate in an event organized by one of the sponsoring companies at the Mineirão Stadium.

Ronaldinho is a winner of the 2005 Golden Ball awarded by the French magazine "France Football" to the best player.

He is one of the most prominent players in the history of football, and he won almost all the available titles from the 2002 World Cup, the Copa America, the Confederations Cup, the European Champions League, the Spanish and Italian leagues, and the Golden Ball.

Brazil is the second most affected country in the world by the COVID-19 virus, after the United States, and the number of deaths has so far reached more than 156,000 people.
