Min of Higher Education Announces 100 Thousand Euros L’Oréal-UNESCO Award

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Chairman of the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO-ALCO-ISESCO), announced the launch of the UNESCO (L'Oreal - UNESCO 2020-2021) Prize for women in the field of science

This year’s award is devoted to physical sciences and mathematics Computer science, related to the creativity of women and their outstanding achievements in scientific progress in the field of science.

The award aims to enhance the role of women in the field of science and to reward distinguished scientific personalities, with a prize value of 100,000 euros.

Among the conditions of the award is to include the required papers in the English language, namely:

CV of the candidate.

Provide a brief explanation on the importance of the candidate's entitlement to the award (200-400 words).

List of publications and patents

The most important (10) publications issued by the candidate, ranked according to importance, with a brief explanation of their importance (less than 150 words).

3 - 5 letters of recommendation from distinguished scholars
