The Egypt Athletes Forum concluded with the presence of a large number of athletes.
The forum was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Olympic Committee and organized by the Egyptian Olympic Committee, at the American University in Cairo.
The forum concluded with a session on the role of the state in supporting champions and preparing players in the presence of Eng. Hisham Hatab, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, Morinari Watanabe, President of the International Gymnastics Federation, Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, Chairman of the Youth Committee in the Egyptian Parliament, and Al-Ameri Farouk, member of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club, and the session was moderated by Eng. Sherif El-Erian, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Olympic Committee and President of the Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation.
The forum also included a session entitled "What Athletes Need" in the presence of Ahmed El-Gendy, silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympics in modern pentathlon, Sherif Othman, champion of Paralympic weightlifting, winner of three golds and a silver in the Paralympics, in addition to Olympic judoka Sandrine Billet, President of the Organization of Olympic Athletes in Africa, and Dr. Hind Issa, mental health specialist
Another session entitled "Nutrition and Athletes' Lifestyle" was attended by Mohamed Najah, Mohammed Al Madani, Rana Noman, Hani Wahba and moderated by Shaima Saber.
The third session was entitled "Heroes' Safety and Mental Health" in the presence of Mona Selim, former Olympic swimmer Rania Alwani, former Olympic taekwondo athlete Abeer Issawi, and moderated by Dr. Hadia Hosni.
The fourth session was dedicated to "Empowering Women in Sports" in the presence of world champion in swimming Farida Othman, Dr. Walaa Abdel Fattah, Paralympic champion in weightlifting Fatima Omar, and Olympic modern pentathlon player Heidi Morsi, while the session was moderated by Dr. Aya Madani.
The forum was held under the theme The voice of Champs. To hear the opinions of players and propose solutions to most of the problems that stand in the way of any athlete, especially beginners.
The forum aims to support Egyptian athletes and emphasize the importance of the role of sport in Egypt and the need to provide support, whether from the state or individuals to its champions
