The Egyptian Red Crescent announced the launch of the 43rd Zaad Al-Ezza convoy from Egypt to Gaza, carrying a number of trucks loaded with urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. This comes as part of its ongoing efforts as the national coordination body for aid to Gaza, and includes approximately 3,000 tons of essential humanitarian supplies needed in the Strip.

The convoy comprised more than 2,700 tons of food aid and flour, and approximately 300 tons of medical and relief supplies. This initiative is part of Egypt's efforts to provide food and relief support to the people of Gaza.

The Egyptian Red Crescent, as the national body coordinating and facilitating aid to Gaza, has been present at the border since the beginning of the crisis, as the Rafah crossing has not been completely closed on the Egyptian side.

It has maintained its readiness at all logistical centers and continued its efforts to facilitate the entry of aid, which has reached more than half a million tons of humanitarian and relief supplies, thanks to the efforts of 35,000 volunteers from the organization.
