Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochitino expressed his great content after his team qualified for the Champions League final after a stunning 3-1 win over Ajax Amsterdam in the second leg of the competition. Tottenham reached the final to face fellow English club Liverpool in the match at the Wanda Mediterraneo stadium in Madrid on June 1.

"The players were heroes. It was a game of special circumstances because we were late in the game by 3 goals. We won because we believed in ourselves," Bouchetino said in media comments after the match.

"The players are the champions. I have said it since the beginning of the season that the players are the ones who will determine the end of the season. They have made a great effort to reach that stage."

"Football is a beautiful game, with many crazy moments. Thanks to football, it's impossible to live without it. I would not have lived without it. "The Ajax players felt tired in the final minutes, and we were very strong, which gave us the win." Buccitino then praised Brazil's Lucas Mora, who scored a hat-trick to lead the team to the final.
