Thai Prime Minister (PM) Prayut Chan-O-cha is set to visit Saudi Arabia, this week, according to Saudi Foreign Ministry.
This visit is considered the first by a Thai leader to Saudi Arabia in more than 30 years.

In an official statement, the Foreign Ministry added that the Thai PM will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman.
“The Thai PM’s visit to the Kingdom comes after consultations that resulted in a convergence of views on many issues of common interest,” the statement read.
