Texas Shooting Death Toll Rises to 21

The victims of the bloody shooting in Texas on Tuesday rose to 21, including 19 children.

The incident took place at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced.

Abbott said that the shooter is an 18-year-old teen and it is believed that he was killed in a fire exchange.

During a press conference, the governor added that the shooter left his vehicle and passed the doors of the school with a gun, and he opened the fire on the school’s students.

Police Chief in Uvalde District Pete Arredondo, said: “Let me assure you, the intruder is deceased and we are not actively looking for another inpidual or any other suspects in this case."

All activities and classes at the school are suspended temporary in the aftermath of the event.

US President Joe Biden responded to the accident news, saying: "It's time to turn this pain into action for every parent, for every citizen of this country."

He added: “For every parent, every citizen of this country. We have to make it clear to every elected official in this country: it’s time to act. It’s time for those who obstruct or delay or blocked the common sense gun laws – we need to let you know that we will not forget.”
