She reached the semi-final after defeating Francisca Jorge in an intensive game that lasted for more than an hour.
Sherif will face Maria Lourdes Carle in the semi-final, today.
In the same context, Sherif, and her partner Nina Stojanovic won the final of the tournament's doubles contest after defeating Leolia Jeanjean and Kristina Mladenovic.
Her current WTA ranking for singles is 100, and for doubles is 142.
