Temperatures Continue to Drop across Egypt on Friday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue to witness a decline in the temperature on Friday.

It is also foreseen that hot weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours.

Moderately weather is also excepted to prevail in the North Coast, while the South Sinai South will experience hot weather and the south of the country will witness extremely hot weather.

Winds will occur occasionally in the North Coast, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, leading to high waves in the Mediterranean Sea, with a wind speed of 50 to 60 km per hour, and wave height of 2.5 to 3.5 meters.

There are also chances of light to medium rain prevailing intermittently in the northern coasts and Lower Egypt.

Moderate weather is predicted to prevail at nighttime in most parts of the country.

It is also foreseen that pleasant atmospheric conditions will prevail from the north of the country to Cairo.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 27°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
