The 2020 American Music Awards (AMAS) aired live Sunday evening, saw some of the biggest names in music took home awards.
The show was hosted by Taraji P. Henson from The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, amid tight coronavirus protocols.
Multiple artists performed at the event, amid the attendee of a small audience.

The show kicked off with a performance of Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes' 'Monster'. Bieber also performed two of his hit singles, "Lonely" and "Holy."

Katy Perry also took the stage for the first time since she became a mom and performed "Only Love" with Darius Rucker.
The ceremony also witnessed the performance of Megan Thee Stallion, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, Bebe Rexha, Doja Cat, Bell Biv DeVoe, BTS, Dan + Shay, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Maluma, Lewis Capaldi, Lil Baby, Machine Gun Kelly, Nelly, and Kenny G.
Artist of the year, the top prize of the night, went to Taylor Swift, and won two other awards, making it the sixth time to win the top prize at the fan-voted show.
Swift was unable to accept the award in person because she was busy re-recording her early music catalog, which was recently sold.
Swift collected the music video of the year and favorite female pop artist.
Cardi B made history at the American Music Awards, as she became the first artist in history to win Favorite Song in the Rap/Hip Hop category at the AMAs twice.
She celebrated on Twitter her historic award, as she had missed the show due to a dentist appointment.
Doja Cat won new artist of the year and Becky G won favorite female Latin artist, a brand new category at the AMAs.
