On Thursday, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend Egyptian football star Tarek Hamed for a game and fined him SAR 10,000 for his actions in his latest appearance with Al Ittihad.
Hamed was accused of breaking the sport's ethical rules after verbally assaulting the goalkeeper of the Al Feiha team in their game against the Jeddah-based team at King Cup's quarter-final.
Al Ittihad defeated Al Feiha 4-3 by penalties after the original game's time ended with a 1-1 draw.
The Jeddah-based team will face Al Hilal in the semi-final of the King Cup.
