Saudi's Al Ittihad announced on Monday the signing of Zamalek former midfielder Tarek Hamed on a free transfer.
The Egyptian international started his journey with the club, taking part in the first training session with the Saudi Pro League club.
The 33-year-old player signed a two-season contract with Al Ittihad; he will wear kit number 3 with the team in the upcoming season.
Hamed will join the club's camp in Austria under the leadership of head coach Nuno Espírito Santo.
The Saudi club started preparation for the next season by facing Fiorentina on Sunday, then playing against FC Red Bull Salzburg on August 7th, before concluding their preparation by clashing against Emirati's Al Wahda on August 12th.
It is worth mentioning that Hamed ended his relation with Zamalek after the latter deducted 50% of his contract because of his long absence.
