Tara Emad, More Celebrated at Red Sea Film Festival and Vanity Fair’s Cannes Gala

Vanity Fair Europe and the Red Sea International Film Festival hosted the "Women's Stories Gala" at the Cannes Film Festival.

The glamorous event was held at the famed Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes and celebrated female talent in the region.

The event was attended by many A-listers including Maiwenn, Gaspar Noé, Katie Holmes, Storm Reid, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, The Weeknd, Gurinder Chadha, Fan Bingbing, Mila Al Zahrani, Freida Pinto, Simone Marchetti, Eva Herzigová, Jomana Alrashid, and Naomi Campbell. 

The star-studded event was hosted by Mohammed Al-Turki, CEO of the Red Sea Film Festival, and Simone Marchetti, Vanity Fair European Editorial Director.

"Women’s Stories Gala After Party" honored six stars from the region: Egyptian-Montenegrin actress and model Tara Emad, Saudi actresses Mila Al-Zahrani and Fatima Al-Banawi, Lebanese actress Razane Jammal, Indian star Sarah Ali Khan, and Nigerian filmmaker Jade Osiberu.

This year, Cannes Film Festival opened Tuesday with the screening of Johnny Depp’s “Jeanne du Barry”.
