Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny shared Thursday on Facebook the first look at his upcoming film "Tag".
The cast also includes Dina El Sherbiny, Sandy, Maged El Kedwany, Sawsan Badr, Hala Fakher, Sherine, Haggag Abdulazim, and others.
"Tag" will also feature several guest appearances including Eyad Nassar, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, and Issam El Sakka.
The film sees Hosny playing twin superheroes Tag and Haroun and follows the mishaps they face.
It is scripted by Hosny and reunites him with director Sara Wafik, who helmed his 2021 film "Mesh Ana". It is produced by TH Production, Synergy, and Sky Limit.
"Tag" hits theaters on June 28.
Hosny was last seen in the blockbuster film "Bahebek".
Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.
During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous.
Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.
He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.
Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captin Hema”.
The musician performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
