What happened?

Unconfirmed reports circulated about Hosny receiving Guinness World Records "the most influential and inspirational artists in the world" award, the same award Ironman star Robert Downey Jr. had received.

However, Guinness World Records issued a statement on Sunday, revealing that the news media circulated were inaccurate.

The encyclopedia statement added: "Hosny was able to break the world record for "the most contribution to bulletin board", and not the award for "the most influential and inspirational artists in the world" as was published in many media outlets."

Guinness World Records awarded Hosny after succeeding in achieving the most number of bulletin boards with 12086 contributions bypassing the previous record that stood at 4,900, which was achieved on December 5, 2017.
