Tamer Hosny to Perform at Salalah Tourism Festival on Aug. 15

Egyptian superstar, Tamer Hosny will perform live at Salalah Tourism Festival, hosted at Al Marooj Theatre, in Salalah, Oman, on August 15, amid a large crowd.

He will perform a number of his famous songs, including songs from his latest album “Eish Beshoak”.

Tamer announced the news via his official "Instagram" account.

He posted the poster of the upcoming concert, and captioned: “Wait for me, God willing, on August 15 at the Salalah Tourism Festival, at Al Murooj Theater - in Sultanate of Oman.”

Salalah Tourism Festival 

The Salalah Tourism Festival is an annual tourism festival held every fall in Salalah City, in Dhofar governorate, Oman, according to Salalah festival website.

The festival will run from July 11 to August 22; The festival treats its audience with various artistic and cultural shows.

New Film

The 41-year-old has completed recently shooting his new film, which is scheduled to be premiered during Eid al-Adha film marathon.

The filmmakers' are scheduled to settle on the film’s title in the next two days after they re-named it three times.

It was filmed between Egypt and Beirut, co-starring Tamer Hosny, Zeina, Khaled El Sawy, Mohamed Salam, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Nancy Salah, Camille Salameh, and is written by Mohamed Abdel Moaty, and directed by Said El Marouk.

Moreover, many celebrities are also making a special appearance including Ahmed El Sakka, Mai Ezz El Din, Ali Rabee and Dina Mohsen, known as Wizo.

The film’s promo is scheduled to be released next week.

Noteworthy, Tamer Hosny is an Egyptian singer, composer, actor, producer, songwriter, and author. He was born in 1977 in Cairo.

The 41-year-old began his career when renowned TV presenter ‘Salma Al Shamaa’, who gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Opera House.

During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab, where renowned producer ‘Nasr Mahrous’ attended.

Ever since, he worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently, achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.

He made his acting debut in 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.

The composer is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in movies “Omar and Salma” trilogy and “Captin Hema”.

He performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
