Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his wife Asmaa tested positive for coronavirus after experiencing mild symptoms, the presidency said in a statement on Monday.
"They are in good health and their condition is stable," the statement added.
It is worth mentioning that, Syria has so far registered 14267 COVID-19 cases, including 938 deaths.
