The Syriac Orthodox Church will celebrate Christmas on December 25 as the Christmas fasting began on December 15 and for 10 days, unlike the Greek Orthodox who will spend 40 days of fasting before Christmas from November 15 until December 24, and will celebrate December 25.

In the same context, Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, will lead the New Year Eve's Mass St.Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, in Alexandria.

The mass will see the participation of several saints, priests, and church members.

They will give several speeches and morales during the prayers.

The prayers will share the final hours of 2023, and the earliest hours of the new year.

The Coptic Church in Egypt will celebrate Christmas on January 7, and Pope Tawadros II will lead the Christmas mass on January 6 at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, in the New Administrative Capital.
