Syria and Algeria emphasized their commitment to enhancing mutual relations.
This came during a phone call on Saturday between Syrian Foreign Minister (FM) Bassam Sabbagh and Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Sabbagh congratulated Attaf on the renewed confidence granted to him by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
He expressed his best wishes for success and prosperity for Algeria, wishing the nation continued progress and development.
Sabbagh affirmed the importance of ongoing cooperation and coordination to implement the directives of the two countries' leaderships, aiming to develop relations across various fields and reflecting the strong fraternal ties between the Syrian and Algerian peoples.
For his part, Attaf stressed his dedication to enhancing the relationship between Syria and Algeria, working to elevate it to new levels that serve the interests of both nations and their peoples.
