The spokesperson for military operations in Syria announced that Ahmed Al-Sharaa is assuming the duties of the Syrian presidency during the transitional phase.
In the same context, news reports stated that Syrian factions participating in the "Victory Meeting," chaired by Ahmed Al-Sharaa, have declared their dissolution.
Earlier reports indicated that Ahmed Al-Sharaa, the head of Syria’s new administration, would hold a meeting on Wednesday with military factions in Syria to discuss the dissolution of the former regime’s army, the Baath Party, and the National Progressive Front.
The meeting is set to address the disbanding of all military, revolutionary, and civilian formations and their integration into the structure of the Syrian state.
