Veteran American actor Sylvester Stallone will not be a part of the third installment of "Creed" starring Michael B. Jordan.
Rumors of Stallone's absence were launched after he responded to an Instagram user stating as much.
Furthermore, the star's rep confirmed to the news that the Rocky star will not take part in the MGM boxing installment.
Stallone reprised his iconic role of Rocky Balboa in the previous two installments, as a mentor to Michael B. Jordan's character, Adonis "Donnie" Creed.
The veteran actor performance in the 2015 part of "Creed" earned him an Academy Award nomination for best-supporting actor.
"Creed III" is directed by Jordan in his directorial debut, is scheduled to be released on Nov. 23, 2022.
However, Stallone fans can see the actor in the recut of "Rocky IV", which he announced recently to be complete.
The actor-director explained on social media that the recut was made as the movie was never completed to his satisfaction. The 1985 picture was a massive success and featured Dolph Lundgren, who played the towering Ivan Drago, the Soviets' prize boxer.
