Switzerland’s Secretariat for the Economy Spokesperson Fabian Mayenfisch confirmed that his country has not directly supplied parts for the production of drones to Iran.
Mayenfisch pointed out Iran could purchase these parts on the world market.
“No such commercial manufactured goods have been shipped from Switzerland to Iran. As a rule, these goods are produced in third countries and distributed all over the world. Therefore, it is necessary to proceed from the fact that these goods were purchased by Iran on the world market,” Mayenfisch said.
Earlier, social media pointed out that “Shahed”, the Iranian-made drones contains 52 foreign-made parts, including US and Swiss.
