Studying in Alexandria's Schools to Be Suspended Tomorrow

Alexandria Governor Mohamed Al Sharif announced the suspension of studying in all schools in Alexandria for both students and teachers due to the unstable weather conditions tomorrow.

Therefore, the governor also directed that all employees who were hired by the 5% right and female employees who bring up children aged below 12 tears old have a day off tomorrow.

It is expected that the city would see moderate and heavy rain and showers during Wednesday, in addition to the activity of strong winds.

It is worthy to mention that Egypt is facing a temporary cold wave and rain since the evening of Sunday and for three days.

Last week, the National Research Institute for Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) announced that Spring will kick off this Monday, 21-March.

The beginning of Spring is linked to the fall of the March Equinox and it happens when the rays of the sun fall directly and horizontally on the celestial equator instead of the Southern Hemisphere to the North.

Previously, the Egyptian Metrological Authority released a report about Egypt’s weather in Spring.

The duration of the season will be three months from March 21st to June 20th. And, it is like a transitional season between the hot and cold.

Although it will see moderate weather, Spring will bring fast atmosphere shifts such as unstable weather waves, strong winds, and rain.

The second half of the season will see the highest degree of the season which is 47 degrees.
