A study revealed that statistics, based on a blood survey, showed that about 58 percent of the US population in general and more than 75 percent of younger children have contracted “COVID-19” disease since the beginning of the pandemic, thanks to the record increase in infections of the mutated wave Omicron.

A study of blood samples sent to laboratories between December and February during the Omicron outbreak showed that infection rates among children, many of whom had not been vaccinated, were the highest during that increase, while 65-year-olds and more are the first segment of the population to receive the vaccination, the rates of infection among them were the lowest.

In children under the age of 11, infection-related antibodies were found in 75.2% of them during the period from December to February, up from 44.2 percent in the previous three months.
