A joint statement by Egyptian and Libyan NGOs has condemned with harsh words the recent MOU between Turkey and Libya which have boosted the security cooperation and allows for demarcation of marine borders.

Here's the full text:

Everyone knows that the State of Libya has been subjected to a big conspiracy, led since 2011 by Western colonial powers and cooperated by, Arab and Islamic sides, represented in the State of Qatar on one hand, and on the other hand the falsified Ottoman caliph 'Recep Tayyip Erdogan' (the Turkish President).

This conspiracy pided the Libyan land, and planted disputes among the people of Libya, for nothing but to rob Libya's resources, on the one hand, and threaten the national security of the Arab Republic of Egypt - the beating heart of Arabism and its intellectual mind – on the other hand. This is for Egypt is the major obstacle to the realization of the Turkish-Qatari plan to pide the region to facilitate its control by the terrorist Brotherhood, initially made by British colonialism.

This is evident in the colonial agreement signed between Erdogan, the head of Turkey's terrorist regime, and Fayez Al-Sarraj, the head of the Wefaq government. We, who signed this statement, clearly announce that we profoundly reject such agreement for the danger it holds, domestically to the state of Libya and regionally to the Arabs, but also globally, as it is, essentially a coalition of terrorists whose threat transcends the state, the region to the whole world.

In this statement, we declare our unequivocal support for the courageous Libyan National Army (LNA) led by the Commander in Chief, in order to achieve security that is absent from the State of Libya because of the axis of evil and terrorism, represented by the terrorist Brotherhood and its members, groups and countries such as Turkey and Qatar.

At the end of this statement, we also declare our unequivocal support for the Egyptian state and its institutions, headed by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the heroic Egyptian military establishment, which is the shield and sword of the Arab nation, in the face of terrorism and its agents and protectors.
