"Squid Game" Season 2 in Development

Netflix's dystopian Korean series "Squid Game" gained immense popularity with audiences worldwide.

According to Bloomberg, the series grossed almost a billion for the streamer with 130 million watchers.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed that the series would be back with more Gi-hun adventures.

He pointed out there has been so much pressure, so much demand, and so much love for a second season.

"I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But I will say there will indeed be a second season. It is in my head right now. I'm in the planning process currently but I do think it is too early to say when and how that is going to happen," Dong-hyuk added.
