Sports Club President Earns ‘Arab Star’ Title for First Time Ever

His success and achievements as the president of a newly formed club during the last year and half earned him the title of the Arab Star.

Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim Nafae, the Chairman of the sports club “Hadaek AlAhram.” succeeded in turning the club from just a piece of unused land to a successful club competing with the biggest clubs in the country.

Nafae informed See after winning the Arab Star 2019 award that the club “Hadaek AlAhram.” is built on 22 acres of fine land where the members can enjoy the spectacular view of the great pyramids.

He announced that the building and development of the club is still going strong and that everyone is working together as one to work on new sports and social achievements.

The Engineer added that:

- The once ignored land, previously used as a parking lot, now contains six football, volleyball and five-a-side fields with a 400 running track around the fields.

- “ElTamrhana.” which is a nice place for the members to spend their time at with a cafeteria, a fountain and a huge T.V. screen was newly built.

- A modern playground was established for kids. As well as a studying center, a number of new swimming pools and a number of new cafeterias.

- Also, in the sports field, the club achieved a noticeable progress seeing as its handball team is now competing with the “El-Ahly.” And “El-Zamalek.” clubs and the football team is now playing in the fourth degree league.
