Spanish Reports: Ibrahim Adel Travels to Madrid Without Pyramids Approval

On Friday, Spanish reports said that Ibrahim Adel traveled to Madrid without having the permission of Pyramids which worsened his situation with Pyramids and Getafe. 

Spanish sports outlet Relevo reported that Adel traveled without any permission or approval from Pyramids to have the medical exam or to sign with the La Liga side.

The outlet added that Adel's move came as he wanted to set more pressure to Pyramids to confirm the deal, however, it led the situation to be worse. 

It highlighted that this action was not the best for the deal. 

On Friday, Pyramids star Ibrahim Adel responded to the news of his failure to sign with La Liga's side Getafe before the end of the ongoing transfer market.

There were a lot of updates related to the situation between Getafe, Adel, and Pyramids.

Getafe were about to end the talks with Pyramids and the player while, and Adel arrived in Madrid on Thursday, however, the talks between all parties collapsed which drove Pyramids to ask the player to return to Cairo.

Ibrahim Adel posted, via his “Instagram” account, the phrase “God suffices me, and He is the best disposer of affairs,” as a hint of the news about his deal with Getafe failure.

Egypt International and Pyramids star Ibrahim Adel arrived in Madrid to have the medical tests to finalize Getafe move, media reports said on Thursday.

Adel presented an impressive run at the 2024 Paris Olympics, scoring three goals to help Egypt finish fourth in the tournament.

He was also named the the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations Best Player award.

It was reported that Adel received several offers from European clubs like Girona, Wolves, Ipswich Town, and Leicester City.

However, Adel name's is now linked with Getafe which submitted a bid estimated at $500,000 for a season on loan, with an option to buy.

If the deal is done, Adel will be the only second Egyptian to play in La Liga after Ahmed Hossam Mido, who played for Celta Vigo in 2003.
